Hello, I’m Keesha McQuay, PLMHP/ PCMSW. I’m deeply passionate about supporting people of all ages and backgrounds, especially those who have experienced complex trauma or are facing challenging obstacles. I earned my Bachelor’s in Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and completed my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with children, teens, adults, older adults, couples, and families in a variety of roles—from therapist and skill builder to family specialist—with a focus on helping people through some of life’s most challenging moments.
I take a warm, trauma-informed approach to therapy and believe in meeting people where they are. I welcome individuals from all walks of life, including those in the LGBTQ+ community, people from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds, and individuals of all faiths and belief systems. I’ve trained in several evidence-based practices like Trust-Based Relational Intervention, DBT, and Integrative Attachment Family Therapy, and I’m always learning new ways to better support my clients. My goal is to create a safe, encouraging space where you feel heard, understood, and supported—no matter what you're walking through. Therapy is a journey, and I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
